Manual operation Dual handles for more comfortable and safer handling The lid lock ensures that pressure will not increase inside the cookpot if the lid is not closed properly and sealed. Once internal pressure is generated, the lid cannot be opened.
Automatic temperature control ensures that the temperature inside the pot remains within the safety range. If the pot dries out, the Multi-Cooker will automatically turn off. If the pot becomes too hot, the Multi-Cooker will stop heating until the temperature drops and then resume cooking.
At the end of the cooking cycle, the lid cannot be opened until all pressure in the cooker is released. This can be done using the natural pressure release method or the quick pressure release method. The vapor release valve has a tab designed to keep your hand away from the top of the valve.
